Military officials released the names of four men killed when a Navy helicopter crashed in the mountains of the Los Padres National Forest near Ojai. The UH-1N Huey helicopter crashed in rugged terrain Tuesday, immediately killing two of the crew members, Lt. Cmdr. Don Lewis said. The other two Navy men aboard died en route to Ventura County Memorial Hospital. The victims were Lt. Cmdr. Stephen Bernard Duffy, 34, the pilot; Lt. Cmdr. Joe Dale Cerda, 36, the co-pilot; Senior Chief Kevin Michael Kinsey, 31, and Airman Eric John Kugel, 20. Their hometowns were not released. Cause of the crash during a routine training mission is under investigation, Lewis said.
