Taped Message on Beaches Offered

A 90-second taped message on weather conditions at beaches from Zuma to Cabrillo is available by calling one of three local telephone numbers, according to Supervisor Deane Dana.
The tape covers air and water temperatures, visibility, general weather conditions, wind speed and direction, sunrise and sunset hours, time of high and low tides and surfing conditions.
The message is available by calling (213) 460-6911, (818) 888-6911 and (714) 972-0601 from Orange County.
Special beach events and beach safety tips will also be offered.
