Century City : Arts Benefactor to Be Honored

Security Pacific Corp. will receive the eighth annual Armand Hammer Award at a luncheon in Century City on Dec. 1.
The award, which will be presented by the Los Angeles Art Council, honors Security Pacific’s contributions to the arts and culture in Los Angeles.
The corporation maintains a collection of 9,000 artworks on view at its corporate facilities worldwide and presents art exhibitions in its Gallery at the Plaza in downtown Los Angeles.
Security Pacific Foundation gave more than $922,000 to California cultural institutions in 1986, officials reported.
