Plane Crashes Onto Street Near Airport, Killing Pilot

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A small plane crashed onto a four-lane street about a mile from Memphis International Airport, killing the pilot, police said. No cars were hit when the plane crashed Thursday night, and no one on the ground was reported injured.
