Industry : New Postal Facility Planned

The U. S. Postal Service has announced plans to build a $61.5-million mail-processing facility to replace its facility on Don Julian Road.
The 462,000-square-foot facility, to open in the fall of 1990, will be on a 30.7-acre site north of Gale Avenue near Turnbull Canyon Road. Postal officials said more space is needed because the area’s population and mail volume have grown.
