I often wondered why the tube is saturated with golf. The TV ratings are always scraping the bottom, along with tennis, bowling and skeet shooting.
Then it dawned on me.
Golf is a game that requires little or no athletic ability, and is perfectly suited to the overweight, overwimpy TV executives, sportscasters and sportswriters who promote it.
