Soviet Dissident Says Family to Get Exit Visa

MOSCOW — Alexei Magarik, a Soviet Jewish dissident freed from a labor camp in September, reported that he had received permission to emigrate to Israel with his wife, Natasha, and their 2-year-old son.
Magarik said that he received the permission on Dec. 8 and that the family plans to leave in about a month after completing visa formalities.
Magarik, 29, had worked as a Hebrew teacher until his 1986 arrest on drugs charges he said were fabricated. He was released after serving half his term. The family first applied to emigrate in 1983.
