Trident Missile Explodes After Submarine Launch

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — An unarmed Trident 1 missile exploded Saturday 18 seconds after it was launched on a training test from the nuclear submarine Simon Bolivar, the Navy reported.
