A gunman shot and wounded an air marshal in an attempt to hijack a Pakistani airliner before he was subdued in a cockpit brawl by passengers and a security guard, witnesses said. The Pakistan International Airlines A-300 Airbus landed safely at Quetta, near the Afghan border, with its 143 passengers and 13 crew members.
