A man who police say shot the woman he was living with, then drove her to a hospital, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police said Christine Ramirez, 24, was shot once in the upper torso about 7 p.m. Sunday during an argument with Michael Valdes, 29, in the home they shared in the 13400 block of Aldergrove Street.
Valdes then drove Ramirez to Olive View Medical Center, where police were called. Police said Ramirez died two hours later and Valdes was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was being held without bail at the Foothill Jail.
