CSUN Volleyball Team Places Last at Ball State

Cal State Northridge, playing without leading hitter Jeff Campbell, lost to George Mason University, 14-16, 15-4, 12-15, 15-4, 15-8, and finished last in the Ball State volleyball tournament in Muncie, Ind., on Saturday night.
Penn State defeated Northridge, 15-3, 15-3, 15-4, in an earlier match Saturday. The Matadors (15-17) lost all three of their matches in the two-day, four-team tournament.
Against George Mason (Fairfax, Va.), Ron Graening led Northridge with 21 kills and a .487 hitting percentage.
