Them Ants

In vain did I seek a name that should have been an important part of the article on “Them!”

That missing name was David Weisbart--the producer of “Them!” and one of the most important contributors to all phase of this memorable film.

Gordon Douglas was and is one of my favorite people--but he does concede in the story “You forget so damn many things when you’re older.”

As an assistant to Tenny Wright, studio production manager during that period, I know from personal observation how well Weisbart worked with Douglas and all concerned with “Them!” before going on to produce “Rebel Without a Cause” and other memorable motion pictures before his untimely death.
