High School Notebook : No. 1-Ranking Puts Chatsworth in Starring Role

Completing two days of shooting for the program “Scholastic Sports America,” camera crews from the ESPN cable network filmed the Chatsworth baseball team Thursday during a 7-3 victory over Cleveland.
“This has been an exciting week for us,” Chatsworth Coach Bob Lofrano said. “It’s been real fun, and it’ll be something that this 1988 team will be able to look back on and remember fondly.
“This has been a real honor.”
Chatsworth (18-1, 10-0) is the No. 1-ranked team in the nation by Collegiate Baseball magazine.
