World Court Rallies to Win

World Court rallied to take the lead with one furlong to go, then drew away to beat Lordalik by 2 1/2 lengths in the $52,000 turf feature at Hollywood Park Wednesday.
Ridden by Chris McCarron and carrying 115 pounds, World Court was timed in 1:47 2/5 for the 1 1/8 miles and paid $14, $8.80 and $4.80.
World Court was sixth in the field of nine with one-quarter mile left. Favored Knights Legend weakened down the stretch, while Nostalgia’s Star ran out of track after starting his rally around the turn.
Lordalik, with Gary Stevens up, finished a head in front of Nostalgia’s Star and returned $11 and $5.20. Nostalgia’s Star paid $3.80.
