Hope for Job Seekers

The May 15 Southern California Job Market section, “Working Into the Next Century,” was an excellent source of information. Especially appropriate were the articles by Elizabeth Christian on resumes and classified ads and by Carla Lazzareschi on people who are fired.
I spent four months searching for a position as a senior programmer analyst. After sending out approximately 50 resumes, I finally was offered a lucrative position earlier this month.
Do not despair, there is a job out there. Just keep at it!
