The Shidler Group has paid $2.5 million for the buildings and long-term land lease of two multi-tenant office structures in the Irvine Business Center, across from John Wayne Airport.
The buildings, at 2062 and 2070 Business Center Drive, Irvine, are on land owned by the Irvine Co. With a total of about 33,000 square feet, the two buildings are across the street from Airport Plaza, which Shidler acquired last year, according to Don Abbey, Orange County managing partner of the national commercial real estate owner.
“We are now actively in the market to acquire additional office buildings, shopping centers and industrial properties to add to our growing portfolio of Los Angeles-area properties,” he said.
