Bruin Crew Finishes Sixth Behind Harvard

The UCLA crew, which figured to challenge for the national title, finished sixth Saturday in the Intercollegiate Rowing Championships on Harsha Lake at Bantam, Ohio.
The Bruin crew finished the 2,000-meter course in 5 minutes 45.81 seconds.
Harvard, the defending champion, won in 5:36.39, followed by Northeastern, Brown, Yale, Wisconsin and UCLA.
