Lost Code galloped to a 3 1/2-length victory in the $209,400 National Jockey Club Handicap at Sportsman’s Park in Chicago.
The 4-year-old son of Codex, ridden by Craig Perret, scored his 13th victory in 25 starts and earned $125,640 for owner Donald S. Levinson of Baltimore. Lost Code, who was timed in 1:49 3/5 for 1 1/8 miles, paid $2.20, $2.20 and $2.10.
Honor Medal, a 7-year-old California-based gelding, took second by a nose over Outlaws Sham.
