Varied Views of ‘a Fine Restaurant’
As a member of the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Assn., I am responding to the letters of Oct. 15 regarding the Bistro Gardens restaurant.
While the Bistro Gardens may be a fine restaurant and an asset to the community, appreciated by many patrons, it will be in a sensitive location due to its proximity to private homes. The homeowners in the adjacent area want some degree of protection of the normal right to peace and quiet in the area. It is an accepted fact that the Bistro will be operating in the area.
The tone of the critical letters indicates that the authors do not live in the immediate area and also want this project at any cost to those that do.
