The NCAA has accused Kentucky basketball player Eric Manuel of cheating on his college entrance examination, according to 1 of 18 allegations made against the school’s basketball program.
The allegations also said Manuel took part in last season’s playoffs even though he knew he was ineligible “due to improper achievement on this test score.”
The NCAA said that when Manuel took the American College Test last year, the “young man copied answers from the answer sheet of another student who set next to Manuel during this test.” The NCAA alleged a comparison of answer sheets indicated that “211 of the 219 answers on the exams were identical.”
