Atlanta Hawks center Chris Washburn has been released from a Van Nuys drug rehabilitation facility after an 87-day stay.

“They informed me that Chris was released and put on a plane to begin a period of readjustment to life in the community,” Hawk President Stan Kasten said. “I’m told he will have a couple weeks of outpatient care before he is allowed to practice with the team.”
