Costa Mesa : Truck Stolen by Three With Knife, Baseball Bat

Three young men armed with a knife and a baseball bat stole a truck from a Santa Ana teen-ager Saturday night, Costa Mesa police said.
Courtney E. Harris, 17, of Santa Ana and a girlfriend had just parked the compact truck at a cinema at 685 Sunflower Ave. in Costa Mesa about 9:55 p.m. when they were confronted by the three in a blue Nissan truck, police said.
The men, in their early 20s, chased Harris then took his truck, which police said was registered to Harris’ mother. No money was taken.
