A fan was arrested at Boston Garden after he jumped onto the ice during a Boston Bruins-Winnipeg Jets game Saturday, apparently angered at the officials.
Frank Baro, 22, of Medford, Mass., landed on the ice at the east end of the rink and began to walk toward referee Bill McCreary.
A linesman skated after Baro and charged him into the boards. Baro, who got an ovation from the crowd, will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court today. He faces charges of being a disorderly person.
