In the Empire League:

Esperanza 2, Loara 0--Junior forward Mike Voss scored both goals as Esperanza (12-3-2, 7-2-1) clinched its fifth league title in the past six years. Goalies Derek Sabori and Dusty Dubriel each had a save for the Aztecs, who are ranked fourth in the 2-A division.

In the Freeway League:

La Habra 8, Buena Park 0--Jamie Hutcherson scored two goals, his 15th and 16th of the season, for the Highlanders (9-6-4, 5-2-3) at La Habra. Goalie Mario Munoz made six saves for his seventh shutout of the season.

Sunny Hills 2, Troy 1--Nick Rose and Matt Marino scored for the Lancers (10-5-4, 7-1-2) at Sunny Hills. Dean Miller scored for Troy (11-3-3, 8-1-1).

In Garden Grove League boys’ soccer:

Kennedy 1, Rancho Alamitos 0--Kyong Kim scored in the first half for visiting Kennedy (13-4-3, 9-2-1). Sophomore Jerry Vargas had three saves for his sixth shutout of the season.

Pacifica 2, La Quinta 1--Tim Stevenson and Daniel Barber scored goals as the Mariners (15-1-2, 10-1-1) clinched the league title at Pacifica.

In the Orange League:

Brea 5, Magonila 0--The Wildcats (14-3-1, 8-0) finished undefeated in league play for the first time and won their fifth league championship in six years. Jeff Ortiz scored two goals for Brea-Olinda. Jeff Bettencourt made eight saves and tied a school record with his eighth shutout of the season.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Hills 2, Orange 0--Rob Nichols and Brian Beaman for the Hawks (9-3-9, 6-2-7) at Laguna Hills.

Trabuco Hills 1, Woodbridge 1--The Warriors clinched the league title with a tie at Woodbridge. John Szczuka scored for Woodbridge (9-1-5 in league play). Lars Flemming scored for Trabuco Hills (8-2-5 in league play).

In the South Coast League:

Dana Hills 2, Capistrano Valley 0--Gabe Smith and Till Gunniwieg scored for Dana Hills (7-5-5, 4-2-4) at Capistrano Valley.

Irvine 5, San Clemente 1--Risto Lindford scored three goals for the Vaqueros (8-4-8, 3-3-4) at Irvine.

In the Sunset League:

Fountain Valley 4, Huntington Beach 1--Derek Mahoney scored two goals for the Barons (17-8-2, 5-4-1) at Fountain Valley.

In Angelus League girls’ soccer:

Mater Dei 1, Bishop Amat 0 (OT)--Saule Sadunas scored on a penalty kick with one minute left in the first overtime period to give Mater Dei (19-4-2, 10-1-1) the victory. Goalie Michelle Lodgya made 10 saves for the Monarchs.

In the Garden Grove League:

Pacifica 6, Bolsa Grande 0--Lisa Luna and April Burton each scored two goals as Pacifica (11-1-2, 9-0-1) clinched the league title.
