Shots Fired From Car Passing School; 3 Arrested

Los Angeles Unified School District police chased and arrested three suspected gang members Monday after a drive-by shooting near Sylmar High School in which no one was injured, police said.
A fourth suspect escaped on foot, authorities said.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said school police saw gunshots fired from the car as it drove along Borden Street about 2:30 p.m. between the high school and nearby Olive Vista Junior High School.
The police chased the vehicle and arrested three juveniles. The spokesman said the three were expected to be charged with engaging in street terrorism.
It was not clear whether the gunmen were aiming at students or were firing at random, the spokesman said.
