Margo Adams, Wade Boggs’ former lover, claimed that Boston Red Sox players marked the end of spring training and the departure of their wives by going on a “frenzied free-for-all” in search of sex.
Adams, in the latest Penthouse magazine story that the Boston Herald previewed, also said that some of Boggs’ friends who worked for the FBI once told her that they could have arrested pitcher Dennis (Oil Can) Boyd after he was seen with a known drug dealer.
Boyd denied the charge. Boggs said the article is full of lies.
