Judge to Keep Drexel Case: A federal judicial assignment committee has decided that U.S. District Judge Milton Pollack will continue to hear the civil suit filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission against Drexel Burnham Lambert, declining to reassign the case to another judge. Drexel had tried to remove him from the case, citing potential conflict of interest. Pollack’s wife, Moselle, has ties with a firm that was involved in a Drexel deal. A federal appeals court had granted a stay in the proceedings pending final determination of who would preside over the case.
