Who’s Responsible for and What’s to Be Done About ‘Kids Out of Control’?

Parents today are no different from parents of yesteryear. The only difference is in the implementation of their values.
Two sins parents of today are guilty of: lip service (defined as “insincere verbal assurance of love, loyalty, etc.” as opposed to action; and rationalization (defined as “the basis of one’s behavior on grounds ostensibly rational but not in accord with the actual or unconscious motives”--as opposed to a simple black and white, right and wrong. Need I say more?
