Voicing Support for a State Campus in Ventura

Let’s stay on the right track!
Let’s express our support for a California State University in Ventura. About 15 years ago, we (the people of Ventura County) lost our chance for a state campus. The state decided to sell the college site in Somis. For that length of time, where has our money gone for higher education? It is time we spent those earmarked tax dollars on a university that will contribute to our economy here.
Please be leery of the artificial roadblocks to the project, and understand that it is our children who cannot compete for local jobs. The lack of local individuals with higher education in relation to the need for them in the work force is unacceptable.
