Security Pacific Donates $1 Million to DARE

The Security Pacific Corp. has announced that it is donating $1 million to the national Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program.
An immediate gift of $500,000 was described as the largest single cash contribution to DARE since the program was developed in 1983 by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Unified School District. Security Pacific said it will give another $500,000 to the organization, which now operates in 49 states and five foreign countries, over the next five years.
