California consumers’ chief official lobbyist before the Public Utilities Commission, Terry L. Murray, resigned as director of the PUC’s division of ratepayer advocates, effective March 31. Murray, who headed the division for a year, will become a senior project manager at Morse, Richard, Weisenmiller & Associates, an energy consulting firm in Oakland. She made the move, the commission said, to be able to work closer to home due to an “unexpected family health emergency.” Administrative Law Judge Edmund J. Texeira was named interim division director.
