Regarding Sheila Benson’s March 2 review of “The Hunt For Red October,” I’d like to present a good reason to boycott the movie.
After Sean Connery said that “slapping a woman around a little is OK” in an interview by Barbara Walters last year, most of the women and men I know are planning not to support this movie.
People in the public eye are held responsible for their private actions and beliefs, most clearly recently demonstrated by the CBS suspension of Andy Rooney.
