The Hollywood-Japanese connection takes a new twist with “Iron Maze,” a Hollywood-Japanese co-production that will explore hostilities that arise in a Midwestern community after a Japanese businessman settles in with plans to develop a theme park. Jeff Fahey, Bridget Fonda and Hiroki Murakami star.
Ed Pressman and Oliver Stone--who’ve previously teamed to produce “Talk Radio,” “Wall Street” and “Blue Steel”--will exec produce. Japan’s Hiro Yoshida (“Twilight of the Cockroaches,” due for release here later this year) will direct. Tim Metcalf wrote the script.
Ed Pressman Film Corp. is producing, in conjunction with Trans-Tokyo Corp.
Production begins in May.
