Hot Tix: And you thought fitting into one of those gold lame dresses on Oscar night was tough. Try slipping into this year’s Academy Awards show. With dozens of chairs removed for television cameras, only 2,990 are left for the audience Monday night at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. About half the seats are reserved for members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Other blocks go to advertisers, performers, presenters, guests and press. Nominees get only two tickets each. Top Oscar seats--costing $200 apiece--sold out the first day. Murray’s Tickets is selling Oscar seats for as much as $2,500 apiece. The cheapest seat being sold by Murray’s costs $650.
