“A Celebration of Sport” auction held on March 8 at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo raised an estimated $35,000 for the Saddleback College athletic complex. Robert C. Lay Jr. is the Foundation president.
The “Shamrock Luncheon” held on March 10 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Newport Beach raised $9,000 for Kappa Delta. Barbara Vary was chairwoman.
The “Blarney Silent Auction” held on March 18 at the Assistance League of Santa Ana chapter house raised an estimated $9,000 for the Assistance League of Santa Ana Modjeska Auxiliary. Kris Wahlberg was chairwoman.
