PANAMA CITY — Panama today asked Cuba’s ambassador to leave the country within five days and said relations between the two countries are “on the verge of a diplomatic break.”
Foreign Minister Julio Linares said the move was in response to Cuba’s refusal to recognize the Panamanian government.
