Three men were wounded in a drive-by shooting early Saturday morning as they walked with a friend in Southeast San Diego.
Police said that the men exchanged words with the passengers of a passing compact car in the 1000 block of 43rd Street about 2 a.m. Then, according to a witness, the driver of the car made a U-turn and shots rang out as it passed the group on the sidewalk.
One of the men was hit in the groin, another in the arm and the third in the leg. None of the wounds was life-threatening, police said.
