Home Buyers Fairs to Feature Loan Experts

Figuring out the mortgage market is one of the most confusing steps in buying a home. At the Los Angeles Times Home Buyers Fairs, you can get help from home loan experts:
--Major lenders will offer free pre-qualifying for home loans, tell you how much house you can afford and give tips on new mortgages. Free consumer guides will be available.
--Representatives from the state Housing Financy Agency will explain Gov. George Deukmejian’s new first-time buyer program, and FHA and VA officials will explain their loan programs.
The all-day Home Buyers Fairs will be held May 12 at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona; May 19 at the Woodland Hills Marriott Hotel in the San Fernando Valley and May 26 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County.
