Ocean View Tops in Baseball Poll

Ocean View High School edged Mater Dei and Tustin for the top ranking in the first Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep baseball poll of 1990.

Ocean View, Mater Dei and Tustin each received two first-place votes. Ocean View earned 56 points, Mater Dei got 54 points and Tustin 50.

In the featured game of the week, third-ranked Tustin travels to 10th-ranked Estancia for a Sea View League game at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
