Digital Announces Non-CFC Circuit Board Solvent: The new process is water-based and could replace ozone-destroying chlorofluorocarbon solvents now being used in the electronic-products industry. Digital Equipment Corp. will allow manufacturers worldwide to use the process without charge as part of its “corporate commitment to protect the ozone layer.”
