H. Michael Hecht, chairman and chief executive of the Broadway-Southern California department stores, has been given the additional title of executive vice president of the chain’s parent company, Carter Hawley Hale Stores Inc. Hecht’s main role will continue to be running the Broadway chain, but he also will work on special assignments for Carter Hawley. Hecht, 50, becomes one of four Carter Hawley executive vice presidents.
