Food Airdropped in Tibet

BEIJING — China’s air force dropped supplies of food and clothing this week to Tibetans trapped by blizzards that killed 36 people, the official Liberation Army Daily reported Wednesday. Heavy snow in the northern Naqu area of the Himalayan region killed more than 100,000 head of livestock, the newspaper said.
