Recycling Benefits Charity

Although there’s a lot more interest in recycling these days, The Los Angeles Times is right to say that Southern California Gas Co.’s white paper recycling program isn’t new--it’s just more of a good thing.
But you missed the point.
The new and exciting part of this recycling program is that the gas company’s trash is turned into cash to support the Volunteer Center of the San Fernando Valley.
Lots of organizations, including the city of Los Angeles, have been recycling white paper for years.
Now, with the added incentive of providing desperately needed funds for community services, perhaps more large companies will consider turning their waste paper into revenue for a favorite charity.
Anyone who wants to know more can call me for help.
