Kimble and Wilson Lead West All-Stars

ORLANDO, Fla. — Loyola Marymount’s Bo Kimble scored eight second-quarter points as the West went on a 12-2 run on its way to a 127-113 victory over the East All-Stars in the Orlando All-Star basketball game Saturday night.
Kimble and UCLA’s Trevor Wilson each scored 20 points to lead the West. Texas’ Travis Mays had 18, and St. Louis’ Anthony Bonner and Dayton’s Miguel Knight added 17 each.
The West squad was 2-1 in the three-night, round-robin competition.
After leading, 31-29, at the end of the first quarter, the West went ahead, 43-31, and never led by fewer than 10 points thereafter.
Syracuse’s Stevie Thompson scored 12 points in the fourth quarter and led the East with 21 points. Cedric Ceballos of Cal State Fullerton added 19.
