Exhibit to Commemorate Start of the Korean War

An exhibit commemorating the 40th anniversary of the start of the Korean War will open June 25 at the Korean Cultural Service gallery in Los Angeles.
“Korea: the Forgotten War, Remembered” is sponsored by the Cultural Service, the Korea Society and three war veteran groups.
Displays include combat uniforms and equipment, photos, documents and soldiers’ personal correspondence. After closing in Los Angeles on July 7, the exhibit is scheduled to go on national tour.
The exhibit, films and lectures are free. The Cultural Service Building is at 5505 Wilshire Blvd.
