FLIGHT OF FANCY: “Flight 1990,” the first flight to be scheduled at the new John Wayne Airport passenger terminal, will be a Boeing 757 that will take off Sept. 8 for a one-hour scenic champagne tour of the skies over the county. . . . Proceeds from the fund-raising flight will help pay for a two-day dedication and the new Airport Arts Program.
