SHORT TAKES : Leno to Entertain Troops in Gulf

NEW YORK — Comedian Jay Leno will perform two shows for U.S. troops stationed in the Persian Gulf during the Thanksgiving holiday, the United Service Organization announced today.
Leno’s appearances will be the first USO shows in the area since Iraq invaded Kuwait, but others will follow.
Troops will be admitted to the Leno shows without charge, and Leno is performing for free, the USO said.
