RTC to Review Government Financing: The Resolution Trust Corp., the savings and loan bailout agency, will review the possibility of providing financing to buyers of assets of failed thrifts. That might increase the volume and sales price of such assets. But it could subject the government to risks, should buyers default on the loans, said Peter H. Monroe, president of RTC’s oversight board.
