Motorcyclist Shoots Woman in Parking Lot

A 42-year-old Encino woman was critically wounded by a motorcyclist who followed her into a North Hollywood parking lot and shot her Thursday morning, Los Angeles police said.
Anita Green was listed in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital, Detective Mike Coffey said.
The woman drove her Corvette into a parking lot behind her husband’s tax consulting business in the 12000 block of Oxnard Street about 10:20 a.m. A motorcyclist who had been following her for an unknown period of time shot her once in the torso before she could get out the car, Coffey said.
Witnesses said the gunman was riding a Suzuki racer motorcycle and wearing a helmet, Coffey said.
Police had not established a motive and there were no suspects.
