Manu Passes for 3 Touchdowns as Riverside Beats Saddleback

RIVERSIDE — Jack Manu passed for 123 yards and three touchdowns to lead Riverside College to a 35-22 victory over Saddleback in a Mission Conference game Saturday.
Manu completed seven of 12 passes, and Mark Wilson gained 136 yards in 24 carries as Riverside improved to 6-2, 2-1 in the conference’s Central Division.
Famita Vaoifi, who also ran for two touchdowns, gained 70 yards in 13 carries. Riverside took a 23-7 lead at the half on two Manu touchdown passes and a 40-yard touchdown run by Vaoifi.
Saddleback (4-4, 1-2) fumbled four times, losing each, and two passes by Gaucho quarterback Jeff Bailey were intercepted. Bailey completed 18 of 34 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns. Mike Cook caught eight passes for 105 yards and both scores.
